lifemate (Chapter 4/ Sakusa x f!reader)

summary: talking about the details of your arrangement with Kiyoomi word count. 2.4k cw. marriage pact au, mature content, suggestive a/n. it's here!! the marriage is happening!!(ďź0ďźďźďźďź) Masterlist
When you step inside your apartment, your heart starts to pound hard. The full realization dawns on you quickly. The fuck. You can't be like this. You fan your face, feeling the heat rising to your cheeks. You kind of feel like screaming. âYou can't be like this,â you repeat the words loudly to yourself.
Why do you feel this way, though? You despise yourself for it. Maybe the idea of tying the knot with someone is really getting to you. You walk to your kitchen and gulp down some cold water to hydrate your throat. You need to be logical about this. Gosh, you need your best friend, Tami, right now. But sheâs probably asleep already; itâs almost 1 am. So, you send some urgent texts to her, telling her that youâll meet Sakusa tomorrow. You also send her a message that says something like, âThe marriage plan is happening!! Iâm gonna make a list of things that I need to discuss w him. Please give me ideas for some important topics!:( Love u.â You know your best friend can at least give you some pointers, especially since she's been married for four years.
You start to clean yourself up, changing your clothes, removing your makeup, brushing your teeth, washing your face, and doing a quick skincare routine. Now that youâre more comfortable, you might think more clearly. You check the time on your phone and lie down on your bed. Okay. Youâll make a few points yourself first.
You try to think hard, but nothing substantial comes up. So, you search for it on Google. You click on some articles and jot down notes in your notes app. You can't write much because you find some topics aren't relatable to your situation. Some of them are too real couple things. For example: "How to spend the right time together?" or "What happens if you feel like youâre drifting apart?" type of questions. Thatâs totally not relatable, right? A few topics that youâve written down are: finances (how will you split the bill?), where you will live, personal space, and how you will divide the chores. Before you know it, your eyes start to close as you drift off to sleep.
When you wake up, it's because of the constant vibration from your phone. You check it and see that itâs still around 7 am. The vibration is from Tamiâs texts. You quickly check her responses.
She lists a few topics, some of which are already written in your notes app. Then, there are some you haven't listed before:
1. Who is allowed to know about this pact? Damn, sheâs right. You'll need to create your version of a love story either way.
2. How would this marriage be? Can each of you date other people, or do you want to be exclusive? Oh. Right. Youâve thought about this before, too. This is important.
3. The wedding. How big should it be? Yup, you still need to talk about this.
4. Physical intimacy? (P.S. Please talk about this, girl! Youâre stupid if youâre not getting that dick)Â
You roll your eyes. This is so her. But then you start to reflect on yourself. Sex? Of course, you're no virgin. Youâre sure heâs not either. But, to be honest, you canât really remember the last time you had sex. Damn! You think it was years ago with your last situationship. Yes, youâve had your share of one-night stands, but that was in your early 20s. You just know that those kinds of activities are not that safe. Not that you judge anyone who does it, but for you, you usually do it with someone you trust pretty well. And there aren't a lot of men that you can trust to do that. Plus, the act is often disappointing. So, sex isnât your top priority nowadays. Yes, you have your needs, but you could always take care of yourself. So far, so good. Itâs manageable. Youâre not sure how to bring this topic up to Kiyoomi, though. It feels wrong too to imagine stuff like that with him. You huff. You won't bring this up.
5. Children? Hmm, you havenât really thought about this topic.Â
Do you want children? Yes, you do, but it's not like you really want them. You guess itâs just because of an image of a perfect family you had in your head since you were little. This discussion will also complicate some financial topics. And you donât know whether Kiyoomi wants children or not. So, you might skip this part. This is not something you considered when agreeing to this anyway.
6. Deal breakers? You canât really think of what this would relate to in your relationship right now. Since thereâs no romance involved, right? You might as well skip this part.
You type your thanks profusely to Tami and then start your Sunday morning by snacking on your energy bar. You'll have your breakfast with Sakusa. Then, you take a shower and get ready. After you finish getting ready, you check your phone and see some messages from Sakusa saying heâs on his way to your apartment. His trip to your place usually takes about 20 minutes. So, you sit on your couch and continue watching the series you havenât finished.
A few minutes later, your phone vibrates. It's a text from Sakusa saying heâs arrived. You quickly respond and make your way downstairs. Spotting his car, you knock on the passenger seat window. He opens the door, and you slide in.
"Hey," you greet him.
"Hey," he replies. "Where do you want to eat?"
You suggest a restaurant not too far from your apartment that serves good avocado toast and truffle mushroom benedict. He agrees and starts to drive there.
As he drives, you take a moment to look at him. He's wearing a dark green corduroy jacket over a white shirt and black shorts. Heâs not wearing his mask, but you notice the mask box between your seats. He smells good, a pleasant combination of his shampoo, soap, and cologne. He always smells good, you realize.
The car ride is quiet but comfortable, the kind of silence that feels natural rather than awkward. As you approach the restaurant, you feel a mix of anticipation and nervousness about the conversation that awaits.
As soon as you arrive, both of you order avocado toast and coffee. You finish your breakfast first, then you start the discussion. âSo? Where do we start from here? Do you have anything in mind?â you ask.
Sakusa nods. âI do. Do you?â
âYes,â you reply. Then you start to run through your list. For the financial topics, Sakusa insists on paying all the bills related to your living place: housing, electricity, and water. But you're confused. âThen, what should I pay for?â you ask.
âSome of the groceries, I guess.â Sakusa replies.
âWhat? No. I canât. At least let me pay for the water or something, too?â you protest.
âPlease. Just let me pay for that,â he insists.
You have never seen him plead before, but seeing his face now, you think this might be as close to pleading as he gets. âIâve told you, you can leave some of your jobs if youâd like. Itâs better for your health, too, I guessâŚâ you can hear a hint of concern in his voice.
You're silent for a moment but then accept his offer, albeit reluctantly. Maybe you should try to relax a bit more. Isn't that one of the perks of this marriage pact? You then move to the next part, which is the living place. He suggests you move into his apartment, and you think it's more reasonable since he has three rooms in his apartment, allowing you to have one as your own room.
âHow about personal space?â you ask.
âWhat about it?â Sakusa responds.
âDo you have a room or place that you wonât allow other people, like me, to enter?â
Heâs silent for a bit. âMy room.â
You nod your head. Youâre no stranger to his need for personal space. In fact, you remember some of his past girlfriends complaining about it. He's the type of person whoâs quite rigid about his boundaries. You'll try your best not to cross any of them. You express this concern to him, asking him to please let you know if you ever step over any boundaries. He answers with a simple "okay."
Next, you start to discuss the chores. You both conclude that heâll be the one who cleans around the house, and you offer to be the chef. Youâre not the best cook, but youâre also not bad. You'll do this since you'll have more spare time after letting go of some of your side jobs. Laundry will be done alternately each week.
Then, you start to discuss the topic list that Tami has given you. You both agree that the only ones who will know about this pact are the two of you, Komori, and Tami. You already told him that you shared this with her, and heâs understanding about that. He tells you that he already informed Komori about this plan as well. Youâre a bit surprised, wondering whether Komori has known since the New Year party or before that. If he knew, he seemed nonchalant about it. But, he will definitely tease you about this.
The love story for both of you will be simple. You know each other since high school, secretly liked each other, and have been secretly dating for a year before deciding to get married. Thatâs just perfect. Your parents also know each other, and your mom has teased you about him before. Quite early in your friendship, even though you clearly stated to her that you considered him just a friend. Well, she might be quite shocked and cocky, having her âI told you soâ moment upon hearing this wedding news. Itâs okay; youâll just have to deal with it for a bit.
You then mention the wedding and tell him that you actually want to have an intimate one. He agrees and chimes in that he needs to inform his manager as well since there will likely be some media coverage for an athlete's wedding. You nod, remembering Komoriâs wedding. You hope there will be no big commotion from the public. You know he has some persistent fangirls and just hope they wonât give you threats or anything. Fingers crossed, you sigh. This is for Kiyoomiâs benefit too. You remember he always says he struggles with rejecting gifts and random confessions; maybe this marriage will reduce those kinds of things.
âHow would this marriage be? Can each of us date another person, or do we want to be exclusive?â you read from your notes. He stares at you. âI think itâs up to you.â
You nod at his statement, understanding that itâs also up to him. Itâs reasonable. Why would this marriage stop him from getting any girl he wants? You donât know much about his hook-up activities, never inquiring about them either. Heâs very private about that. You sigh mentally, feeling a tinge of insecurity, which you think is stupid. You canât be unfair to him. âYeah, letâs just be careful about it. We canât let people know, though. Itâll look bad on us,â you respond, staring down at your phone.
You donât hear his response and see the notes on your app, deciding to skip some of the topics that you're not sure how to bring up. âIs there anything you want to add?â you ask him.
âWill you take my family name?â he asks.
You think for a moment and nod. âI will.â Then, you start to repeat your name with âSakusaâ in front of it in your head. You kind of want to laugh, thinking that you used to call him by his family name during your early years of friendship. Now, that name will be yours too.
After that, you delve into detailing the aspects of your wedding. You had stated earlier that you wanted an intimate ceremony, so you emphasize making the wedding small and estimating the budget, aiming to keep it as economical as possible and split it 50/50. Sakusa interjects again, insisting heâll just pay it all. You donât mind the budget since itâs much cheaper compared to what some of your friends usually spend. You also have enough savings for it. After a bit of disagreement, you settle on an 80/20 split.
Your wedding will be held in mid-February with a garden party theme, which you suggest. All the preparations will be handled by a wedding organizer that you both found together. Sakusa is actually very cooperative, offering to contact the wedding organizer and jotting down some of the information you discuss together on his phoneâs notes. You thought heâd be bored with such detailed discussions, but he had even done a lot of research beforehand and gave you insights about the wedding experiences of his relatives and friends. You heard from some of your friends that their partners didnât really put in the effort and handed it all over to the woman. So, youâre very glad heâs not like that. After all, marriage takes two people to make it work.
You both then decide that everything sounds good and finalize the plans. As youâre about to stand up, he suddenly grabs your hand. You look at him and see him hesitating a bit.Â
âWhat? Is there something wrong?â you ask.
He then pulls you down, prompting you to sit again beside him. You stare at him curiously as his hand moves inside his jacket pocket, taking out something. Itâs a box. A ring box! You realize, flabbergasted by his action. Your mouth falls open.
âWait, wait. What?â you stammer, staring at the navy velvet ring box.Â
He proceeds to open it, showing a silver ring. You notice that the ring features a row of detailed Forget-Me-Not flowers running into delicate leaves on either side of the band. Youâre totally speechless. You didnât expect him to give you a ring right now. You thought you could just buy some matching rings together that simply show âYeah, weâre married.â But this ring in front of you looks expensive as hell.
âI know this kind of marriage is something you never expected. I know this is not something you dreamed of either. But let me make this a bit proper. I want you to have this,â Sakusa says.
You feel like crying, touched by his sentiment. He then slides the ring onto your finger, and you canât help but thank him and hug him, driven by your emotions. You widen your eyes, taken aback, and mumble a quick apology, afraid that youâve invaded his personal space or something. But he hugs you back.
It seems like this marriage pact isnât so bad, after all.

In honor of The Magnus Protocol Season 2 coming out soon, here's the Batfamily as Fear Avatars!
Bruce Wayne: The Hunt. Batman is an avatar of fear, and the way it creates said fear is by hunting down the criminals. From their perspective it's almost like he's toying with them, teleporting around, always one step ahead. Every time you think you've out ran him, out smarted him, he's always right there. He is not as bad as other vigilantes. He won't kill you, and on a good day he might not even kick your ass too bad. And yet, there's something about him that just activates that primal fear of prey running for its life. It feeds him, it makes him stronger. The more you fear him, the more you draw him to you, and once you're in his sight, you won't leave it.
Barbara Gordon: The Eye. Compared to Batman the Oracle may not feel as terrifying. How bad can someone be when you'll never even see them in person? Except the Oracle knows. It knows things no one should know, things that are only in your mind. At first you convince yourself it's a fluke. She must have hacked your phone and maybe you wrote it in some notes app or private chat...except you know that's not true. Very few have confronted the Oracle, and they're always changed, but the terrifying thing is that it doesn't need to. The Oracle doesn't even need to talk to you to know. That paranoia will always follow you, has it decided to look your way? What has it seen? it makes you feel naked and exposed even in the safety of your own home. Your only hope is that Barbara will never look your way, but if you're thinking about it, she probably already has.
Dick Grayson: The Spiral. You can put a finger on it, but there's something... wrong with Dick Grayson. His smile is a little too wide, too many teeth. His eyes are too blue. Or maybe it's the way he twists in the air in a way you're pretty certain the human body shouldn't. But all of that can be brushed off, it must be in your head. Nightwing though, that's harder to explain. He's meant to be just human, but that can't be right. He operates in Bugs Bunny logic, falling to his death from a building but when you lean over the railing to see his mangle corpse, he whistles into your ear. "That's quite the fall, isn't it?". It's not just him though, it's the entire God forsaken city. You know the place, maybe you were even born in it. You know this alley wasn't a dead end. You know the backstreet he's been chasing you on for what feels like hours doesn't stretch that far. You're turned right five times already, that doesn't make any geometrical sense. When you see him in front of you, shaking his head like a disappointing mother, it doesn't even surprise you. "What is even happening?" He looks at you funny, like you're crazy. Maybe you are.
Cassandra Cain: The Dark. Batgirl seems to follow in Batman's footsteps, but if you think she's just a younger female version of the Bat you'd be sorely mistaken. If Batman is an expert hunter (setting traps, tracking its prey with uncanny accuracy), Batgirl is a predator. A natural force you can't stop, a creature of the night perfectly designed to eat you alive. If Batman will make you feel like a deer trying to outrun the rifle, Batgirl reminds you that humans used to be prey. The neon lights may lull you to a safe sense of comfort, but she's there, in every shadow. She'll wait for the right opportunity, there's plenty of empty space between spotlights and dark alleys. You may be used to working in these man-made half shadows, you think you know true darkness, until the Darkness stares back at you. You're not the Apex predator, you haven't conquered over nature with your technology. There just needs to be something bigger, hungrier, waiting for you.
Jason Todd: The End. There's something uncanny about Jason Todd. No, not just the Red Hood, but Jason himself. It's not like something was left behind when he came back, nothing is missing. It's that he brought something back with him. That is the real issue. There's something to his pale corpse eyes that reminds you of what's inevitably waiting for you. Your clock may have more time than his did, but when he's near you can hear it ticking away regardless. And that's only when he's not here for you. Put yourself in the shoes of the scum he actually visits with intent. You're up to your disgusting malicious plans when suddenly a clock starts ticking and this time you know exactly how much you got left. It's not something he enjoys, but it is necessary. A brutal death is a powerful thing and The End craves it, better feed him people who deserve it.
Stephanie Brown: The Stranger. There's something weird about the new guy in your crew. You could have sworn he used to act differently, but it's none of your business so you keep your head down. Much later, when she takes his face off, you realize you should have run when you still had a chance. She's a chameleon, a proverbial fly on the wall in every conversation. You will never know who she was, unless she wants to toy with you. You talk to your girlfriend about it, and a chill goes down your spine as you realize it may not be her. You wouldn't know, not unless she wants you too. And there's a more terrifying thought, as you realize someone may be talking to you tonight, and they won't notice anything amiss either.
Tim Drake: The Corruption. The Clench should have killed him. Even if that didn't do it the asplenia mixed with the filthy streets of Gotham should have. But he's still here. There's something sick inside him, it grew until it consumed him whole, and yet it never truly killed him. Well, it may have killed him, but no one will miss that lonely little obsessed boy. You see, he's never lonely anymore, they're so many and they're all under his skin, always keeping him company. Now he's like a poison, once he's touched you it's over for you. He grows closer and closer until you can feel him under your skin. There's no escape from the sickness, it always knows where you are.
Duke Thomas: The Web. The thing about dancing lights is that they're a distraction. A magicians misdirection to get you to look exactly where they need you to look, to pick the card they want you to pick. Most importantly, they make you feel like it's your idea. Duke, and The Signal by extension, is charming. He's not Brucie Wayne's overt charm or Nightwing's awe-inspiring leadership. No, Duke is something more insidious. He'd get you to laugh, to dance, to go to the ends of the Earth with him in a way you can't quite explain. But it's fine, right? He's such a polite and lovely young man. Or a cheeky little bastard you can't help but like. Or a charismatic leader inspiring you towards rebellion. Now that you think about it, why are you here? You didn't mean to confess, you didn't mean to plead guilty. But, it was your voice, wasn't it? You were the one speaking and you can't blame him for convincing you to do it.
Damian Wayne: The Flesh. In your anatomy class there's a weird guy. He's the son of a millionaire and he knows exactly how many capillaries there are in your eyes. Not eyes in general, just yours. It's a baffling assessment but somehow you feel it's right. He's a vegetarian and when you tease him about it he gives you this look. It makes you feel pinned in place as he tells you: "it wouldn't feel right, after all, we're all just meat". It makes you scoff, breaking the moment. You're different from a cow. At least, you think you are. There's no difference for Robin though, and he can mold you to show you exactly just how animal you truly are. When you come back to your senses in a cell in Arkham no one will believe you. But you know. You know because despite changing your body back, an artist always has to leave a signature.
(I had other options like Tim avatar of the eye or Dick for the vast or switching dick and Steph's, or Jason for the desolation but you know, I wanted each of them to have a different one)

someone made the mistake of saying that the @destiel-shit-post-mini-bang Christmas edition needed cringe art and that's what I do best (in a sense) and somehow this led to Dean and Cas as gingerbread men going gingerbread house hunting and naturally I dumped this idea on someone in the reverse bang. you know, like you do

I lowkey forgot this was supposed to be a banner (probably since it's not a table as all my other banners seem to be thdnfjdj) and so it's suspiciously art piece-y. some things: 1 this is probably the only time I'll ever use the sprinkles brush on my drawing app, 2 those red things are supposed to be red hots (cinnamon candies) and were originally going to make up the entire fire before they became the coals instead because they didn't look anything like a fire, 3 I couldn't make the licorice stockings all the same size so let's pretend the massive one is Sam's, and 4 I made the mouse way too ghsnduf to be the sorta bad guy of the fic (since it eats Dean and Cas' house lol) idk it's just too baby ,_,. also I imagine the tree as being made of something gummy hence the pulling sorta bite marks in it

behold the original art piece I bestowed upon the claims gallery, featuring Dean and Cas house hunting and idk Becky is the real estate agent for some reason. I don't think there was any actual logic behind that one chat. but it was fun designing gingerbread versions of the characters and giving them a few defining features like hair and basic clothing outlines. the cookie color is based on hair color btw in case that wasn't obvious

I had way too much fun designing the candies (lollipop flowers my beloved) thrown all over the landscape and adding random details like this abominable cinnamon stick for sale sign, featuring one of Becky's...interesting usernames (it says 'contact samlecker81 for details' since I didn't wanna write a phone number). this was more relevant in my head since I had a thought of Becky maybe trying to sell Dean and Cas a house near her so that she could see more of Sam but that idea got scrapped and I like what the author did with the story way better
as a bonus I made a little divider and this is unironically the best thing I've made in months. I have peaked guys it's over for me
the fic this is made for is called "Christmas in Candyland" by @qu33rbait for the destiel shitpost reverse bang (Christmas flavored)

Vivziepop Leviathan headcanons
Though only on screen for a short time and never spoke in Mastermind, I've come up with several headcanons for Vivziepop's version of Leviathan.
My first headcanon is a link to a post about a possible origin Leviathan could have about why she sided with Hell.
Leviathan is 2 separate personalities that share a body (which can lead to the usual situations when it comes to controlling it) and while both identify as female, they prefer to be counted as 2 individuals unless someone is talking about a specific part, like if someone was talking to the white head they would say she in a sentence about her. They occasionally would be okay being counted as one person but that is when they are both in agreement on something or in cases when someone says something like "bring her here right now!"
Given all the other sins have nicknames, I agree with this comment I saw about how each head has a nickname that is part of the word Leviathan. For example one head goes by Levi, which can also be spelled Levy like in Fairy Tail, while the other goes by nicknames like Thana or Athana. The twist is the white head is named Levi (as she thinks it's cute) and the purple is Thana/Athana as it sounds like Athena which is related to the next headcanon. I'm still going to identify each personality by the color of their head.
White has a more optimistic, kind personality while Purple is more negative and grumpy. As a trade, Purple is the more logical and smart one while the other is a bit gullible, a bitidiotic at times, and can be too nice and willing to give someone a chance or praise.
Leviathan seems to be some kind of model or fashionista. I could definitely see her having a kind of makeup and clothing line made from materials found in the ocean, you know like how perfume is basically made from stuff from whale guts and there is something called seaweed fabric. Also based on that Envee app from season 1 she likely runs all kinds of social media stuff, maybe even a gossip tabloid, which would have a section about who wore what better.
White knows she is the more attractive one and loves getting attention for it, explaining why she liked Mammon's flirting in Mastermind. This makes Purple annoyed because she doesn't get as many compliments and obviously gets envious of White's looks and getting more attention, especially from guys.
White is a bit of a romantic and is more open minded on dating anyone (again explaining her interest towards Mam, till she saw him eat) but like I mentioned in the origin post, Purple is still mourning over her last love and doesn't want to take chances and can be very picky of who to date. Still she chose wisely to move away from Mammon when he suggested going on a date.
IDK If it was me or because of the art style but at some angles and scenes, White looked a bit different and would sometimes look either younger or older. This makes me think she wears a lot of make up to hide her age and a few flaws like a barnacle zit, as I have seen the trope of older characters envying the young. This would fit with the makeup brand headcanon.
When it comes to powers I can see both of them having Siren powers, using their voices to control weak minded demons. Given Purple's appearance is very eel like, I could see this meaning they having some electric eel powers, but its not as strong as Mammons. They usually use their electric powers to paralyze enemies for a time. Maybe that is mixed with a kind of toxin their skin can produce? Don't worry they have the ability to "turn it on and off" at will so people don't have to fear of getting shocked/sick if they accidentally touch Leviathan. Also maybe they could have hydrokinesis or be able to generate and shoot out water from their palms.
When it comes to their voices, I could see White have a voice similar to an older sounding Dakota from Total Drama, as that would be fitting. As a bonus when Leviathan turns into her full demon form she would sound like Dakotazoid XD. Others voice I think I would give them is White sounding like Poisandra and Purple with a Badonna like voice, both characters from Power Rangers shows. I previously made a post stating a Poisandra VA could work for Bethesda von Eldritch, so having such a voice for both characters would be a good way to save time and money. A funny VA headcanon is that while Purple has a nice voice, White has a voice that makes her sound like Dr. Mrs. The Monarch from the Venture Bros. We know Purple smokes so imagine if White's voice got effect by it XD. The only time White wouldn't have such a voice is when she sings.
If I had to give Leviathan a love interest, I like the idea of it being a hydra like being. He would be a nine headed guy with the 9th center head being slightly bigger than the others, as he is the dominant head. Even though he has more heads, they don't usually argue with each other compared to when Leviathan does. Each has a notable trait in their personality, one is a nerd, one is the surfer dude, etc. yet 4 love White while 4 love Purple, and the leader head loves them both equally.
White is close friends with Bethesda von Eldritch, and while Purple doesnt like her a much (she can't stand Betty's stupidity at times) she does appreciate that Bethesda is always kind to her and that Bethesda considers her one of the smartest people she knows.
They obviously both love Charlie, though they don't agree on her redemption plan 100%. I feel like after she was born, White tried to sound like the hot, cool aunt though all that did was make her feel old.
That is all I can think of right now, and I would love to hear your thoughts on Leviathan. Do you have any headcanons?

New study method!!! I'll call it the SX² method
Ok, so, literally no one asked but I wanted to share my study method.
Table of contents
1. The method+steps
2. Additionals
3. What I've accomplished with the method
1. The method+ steps
Read the material and annotate, either on the book itself or a separate paper, (highlight words you don't know, underline important things, write down questions you have, mark sections you think are more likely to be on tests and those who you think are less likely, read additional text too.
Reread out loud. Mark sections where there are answers to some of the questions you previously had.
Make notes. Do not write information in bulk, do it like a presentation, write key words and questions
Go over your notes and try to recite and explain what you read and what you understood and record it.
Relisten to the audio and mark off unclear explanations and segments you missed
Reread the material
Explain the material like you're doing an exam presentation or a lecture to someone who doesn't know anything about the subject and record it
By the end of this you should have a paper with keywords and questions that will help you with the âpresentation/lectureâ part and a recording of said part. You will use it to review whenever you need to and you'll listen to the audio as well.
2. Additionals
Over study. Having more general knowledge on a topic can make it easier to integrate when you don't remember a specific information, and it can also help you to make logical connections which can lead to accurate answers even if you didn't remember it
If your material is a lot or too redundant you're gonna have to review it and rewrite it (or use a speech to text app if you don't feel like writing by hand or typing)
Spaced repetition, for a lot of topics I can do this method once and get really good marks on a test, however some topics are just longer/boring/harder and require more time to assimilate, also if you're studying for multiple subjects it's important to repeat things in order to not forget them to make space for new knowledge
Sleep, sleep deprivation can make things so much harder than they need to be
Add quality to your tests/exams/presentations curate your speech and how you explain things, grammar and vocabulary are very important
Quality over quantity. No use studying 4 hours if you didn't learn shit (I don't think studying should ever take that long anyway) even if you do it for 30 minutes you should still feel like you've learned something.
Keep notes (mainly for subjects like maths, economics, or any subject that have fundamentals that are repeated a lot even as you go further in the program)
3. Accomplishments
+ I never study for more than 2 hours a day, most days I do 30 minutes to an hour, with an average of 48 minutes
+ I easily get high marks, in my school it's practically impossible to get all 10s (10 is the highest grade) because some teachers don't even give it and some only do when you get every single thing right (I mean everything, even grammar and such). But as I started this method my grades haven't gone below 8 with most of them being 9s which is really great because it increases my chances of having a 10 in my final score report.
+ I actually remember what I study way after tests are done, which is really useful in certain subjects like law or political economics
+ school is not a worry anymore. I am genuinely very chill about it , I've started caring less so maybe that helped but yeah, I'm chill
+ I have a lot more time to dedicate myself to other things đЎ
Let me know how this works for you!!!!!!!

Hey! New fan here. I'm not quite sure where to start. There's so much content. Any tips?
Hello there, I'm so sorry, it took me an eternity to answer you...
First of all, welcome to the fandom! When it comes to managing the gigantic amount of BTS content that exists, I can only advise you to take your time: navigate the content, watch what catches your eye, and leave the rest, maybe for later. For a long time now, Big Hit has aimed to offer a variety of fan experiences so no matter who you are, you can find something you really enjoy. Maybe it'll be the documentaries following the group during world tours or the cooking game with chibi versions of the members, it's up to you.
I'll try to give a few tips depending on what you may be interested in:
1 - You're here for the music
YouTube, streaming apps, and albums are your friends!
An easy start is the Hybe playlist since it has all their main tracks. Then if there's a song you really like, you can try and go for the album.
If you want more info about a song/album, you can check my blog post about it, it should have lyrics translations, filming places, a list of the referenced works and nods to other things, as well as some more trivia.
Then it's time for the documentaries (they're listed here among other shows) and the special performances to witness unique versions of your favorite songs paired with incredible choreo. Lastly, collaborations with other artists complete their discography.
2 - You're here for the members' personality:
Their variety shows, behind-the-scene videos, and socials are the way to go!
The iconic one is of course Run BTS!, which started in 2015 and is still going strong nowadays with the Run Jin! version, a show packed with laughter, treason, and games no one understands. But the true OG remains the Bangtan Bombs (Eng trans). Each video is a time capsule of the boys at each point of their career.
Once you've gone through all that free stuff (should take you some time though), the paid content is the logical next step: from the adventurous Bon Voyage to the relaxing In The Soop, you once again have the freedom of choice.
3- You're here to collect:
Merch and characters are the rabbit hole you're looking for!
BTS merch, products advertised by BTS, HipHop Monsters, BT21, TinyTan, you can buy them all! If you're like... super duper rich
4 - You believe there are rabbits baking cakes on the moon:
Welcome to the theorists' world (ďžâăŽâ)ďž*:シďžâ§ a.k.a the BU.
It's pretty much dead now, some people expect new things for 2025 but there's no guarantee. It's a fiction set up in the BTS MVs that then got extended through web comics, novels, and a web series.
That should be it. I didn't mention a lot of things (the Festa, the solo works, the DVD packagesâŚ) but it should cover your bases and it's mostly free and easily available. I think you'll naturally come across the rest during your time in the fandom (there are tons of compilations and curated extracts). I think that's one of the nice things about BTS, you always discover something you had never heard before even when you're an experienced fan!
To stay up-to-date, don't hesitate to follow official accounts, as well as a few translators. You can also check r/bangtan on Reddit, there are often new fans asking for help/recommendations there, it's probably more complete than what I could come up with on my own.
And of course if you want to ask something else, I'm still here (and promise, I'll try to answer sooner)
See you! đ

Integrating Third-Party Tools into Your CRM System: Best Practices
A modern CRM is rarely a standalone tool â it works best when integrated with your business's key platforms like email services, accounting software, marketing tools, and more. But improper integration can lead to data errors, system lags, and security risks.

Here are the best practices developers should follow when integrating third-party tools into CRM systems:
1. Define Clear Integration Objectives
Identify business goals for each integration (e.g., marketing automation, lead capture, billing sync)
Choose tools that align with your CRMâs data model and workflows
Avoid unnecessary integrations that create maintenance overhead
2. Use APIs Wherever Possible
Rely on RESTful or GraphQL APIs for secure, scalable communication
Avoid direct database-level integrations that break during updates
Choose platforms with well-documented and stable APIs
Custom CRM solutions can be built with flexible API gateways
3. Data Mapping and Standardization
Map data fields between systems to prevent mismatches
Use a unified format for customer records, tags, timestamps, and IDs
Normalize values like currencies, time zones, and languages
Maintain a consistent data schema across all tools
4. Authentication and Security
Use OAuth2.0 or token-based authentication for third-party access
Set role-based permissions for which apps access which CRM modules
Monitor access logs for unauthorized activity
Encrypt data during transfer and storage
5. Error Handling and Logging
Create retry logic for API failures and rate limits
Set up alert systems for integration breakdowns
Maintain detailed logs for debugging sync issues
Keep version control of integration scripts and middleware
6. Real-Time vs Batch Syncing
Use real-time sync for critical customer events (e.g., purchases, support tickets)
Use batch syncing for bulk data like marketing lists or invoices
Balance sync frequency to optimize server load
Choose integration frequency based on business impact
7. Scalability and Maintenance
Build integrations as microservices or middleware, not monolithic code
Use message queues (like Kafka or RabbitMQ) for heavy data flow
Design integrations that can evolve with CRM upgrades
Partner with CRM developers for long-term integration strategy
CRM integration experts can future-proof your ecosystem

How do you make people look 3D đ
ok so like.. this is mostly me guessing cause tbh I don't pay attention when I'm drawing at ALL. like idk how I do this either but I'll try my best to explain!!
Also I just want to mention that none of the examples I show are bad. This is just what I do! You can do the opposite of what I'm saying and come out with art just as cool as if you were to follow my tips, this is just what helps me
The short version:
3d sketches
Patchy colouring
No line art - just tidied sketches
The long version:
3d sketches
What I find helps the most is to use 3d shapes for your sketches rather than flat, 2d ones.

As you can see, I build the body out of cubes more than squares. I even make the head a cube as I find it easier to understand the angle then on a circle. The sides and front of the body are easier to spot here. You can tell that the shoulder is connected to the side of the body, while on the 2d sketch it is less clear. Overlapping parts of the body is one of the easiest ways to make a piece look less flat.
I like to break up the body into three pieces, the chest, the waist and the pelvis. This helps me with proportions and figuring out where the body bends.
Remember that clothes follow a similar logic! They flow with the body. The hems of shirts n stuff is rarely just straight, they curve.
2. Patchy colouring
This is how I colour my pictures:

I use procreate, but there are probably similar brushes and settings on other apps, such as ibis paint x, and if your a traditional artist you can get a similar effect by going over the same area with slightly different colours. I find that it makes it look more interesting. I rarely actually shade a picture, so this is very helpful. It's awesome if, like me, you suck ass at lighting LMAO
These are the only settings on the brush I changed. I used "Rectango"

What this does is slightly change the hue and saturation of the brush with each stroke. The higher the percentage, the more dramatic the change, so play around with it and find what suits you the best
3. No lineart
Im not sure if this actually helps the 3d-ness, but it makes my art look more interesting and "full".
Also it's fun. I mean, how many artists do you see online complaining about doing lineart? You know you can just.. skip the lineart. Right?
All I do is I duplicate the sketch layer and tidy it up a bit. Heres my design for Sammy.

This is a particularly messy job, but I think it gets the point across. She also displays the previous techniques - her colours are patchy, the clothes bend around the body, etc.
Now, here is Sammy without the things I have mentioned previously in this post.

I haven't done lineart in well over a year, so bear with me lol
She looks a lot more flat. Her hands arent curved properly, her clothes don't "wrap" around her. The colours are more flat too, which makes it obvious that there isn't an actual lightsource. These things can all be tweaked to look more 3d, however I find that the first is way more 3d for about the same effort, perhaps less.
this is just what I do. It wont work for everyone, but I hope at least something on this post helps! Have fun !!
#art tutorial#Mcsm Sammy#Also let it be known that my Sammy is Irish cause I'm Irish and I do what I want#Also keep in mind that I am fifteen and the most art school knowledge I have is from three years of secondary-school lessons and online tut#I am NOT a professional LMAO

PLOTTING / NOTES : JULY 2024
hi hi helloooo
bronya is a well known character I Think, at least in terms of having more out-of-hi3 appearances and being a bigger play in the game's main narrative than my Other hi3 girl. she is a little bit too complex for me to write a wiki article and feel satisfied the way that i did for elysia, so i'll hit you with the big points for now (you can always read my app if you want an idea of what we're cookin with)
-> bronya is written FOLLOWING the events of hi3 part 1 and APHO chapter 2, which is to say she is taken from what is her current most recent canon point. she is still very much the same person, with her memories and all intact, but there are some big key personality changes that we see in apho. -> PARTICULARLY, this bronya is a much more mellow/much less AI or doll-like version of herself. she's aged out of speaking about herself in the third person and, while she is still very logic oriented and not the most expressive, she is certainly not the same apathetic creature she was before -> bronya is very familiar with the sea of quanta, and very well versed in what bubble universes are. for this reason, any mention of another bronya will certainly not surprise her the way it might a normal person LOL. she's seen em before, she gets the idea. -> this is more of a general thing but all interactions will assume the appearance of her silverwing: n-ex battlesuit as this is canonically how she appears now as of APHO. girlfriend is 25 adult years old. however i will still use images/icons of bronya from before this, as that is the bulk of her content, but i do request my partners keep in mind that her appearance differs. it's a bit stark considering she is like a teenager that is 4 feet tall in all appearances before silverwing lmao. -> speaking of, her current appearance is EXCEPTIONALLY like miss bronya rand hsr, so any characters who may recognize the other are perfectly within their right to make that association haha
now with that said: plotting
desert exploration [requires teyvat muse!]: i think...it would please me (and i haven't actually gotten to write this prompt yet haha). bronya is not Really a history nerd i guess technically and miss ural mountain sniper is not well cut out for the cold BUT i think she could have some fantastic conversation about the situation with a muse who has an idea of what's goin on
runaway dog: she'll be right at home in the weather LOL and there is a lot of room with her and her canonical abilities to Make Things for us to find a creative approach here. i would also be interested in maybe making a lil informal combat encounter out of it tbh if anyone So Desires
cycrane therapy: prompt isnt about cycranes exclusively but it's what comes to mind LMAO the point is i think miss i acted like a robot for ten years would have a real fun time here. she is also really well technology versed and would Probably like to pry one of these things open at least a little bit if that sounds like fun
non board: as always i am down for a little bit of whatever. i love apping characters with few connections and really Seeing Where They Can Go, so i would be most excited to make bronya some friends ^^
as always, you are free to dm me here or ping/dm me on discord to plot! i'm very excited to experiment with a new voice :D

I got talked into writing again for this months carnival of aces. Let's see if I can figure out how to work Tumblr through this app! No promises that I'll check responses on any app anywhere, ever. Cross post.
For this month's carnival of aces, I wanted to reflect on how our use of the concept of sexual orientation has changed over the past couple decades, and how that's affected my view of orientation as a concept.
First, it's worth noting that sexual orientation, as a concept, has always been shifting. The model of 4 exclusive identities of heterosexual, homosexual, bisexual, and asexual has it's origins as psychological diagnoses. These identities, even before asexuality was widely known, were meant to capture the entirety of logical space with regards to what gender someone could be attracted to. Asexuality was the last of these gender-focused labels, basically an afterthought we had to invent because the previous model (again, due to originating from psychology) assumed everyone was sexual (or, alternatively, asexuality was previously theorized as a lack of sexual orientation).
But because asexuality is a null answer to the "what gender?" question, it quickly lead us to develop other terms to describe our internal experiences that didn't revolve around sexual attraction to gender - after all, we didn't want people to think that because we're asexual we have no feelings at all! There were a couple ways to do this: 1) develop other types of attraction (romantic attraction, aesthetic attraction, etc.), and 2) develop models of sexual orientation that aren't based on gender (i.e., demisexual, sapiosexual, some types of kink, etc.).
I don't know about everyone else, but I know I eventually felt unsatisfied with our attempts to develop newer and more inclusive models. In my younger years I still had a desire for totalizing systems, for a complete model to explain everything. It was also based on a desire to be seen and understood. But this was doomed to failure for two reasons. First, it's impossible to ever have a complete model. We've seen this demonstrated in the split attraction model.
Second, and perhaps more importantly, even coming up with a model to explain myself personally was always doomed to failure because I've come to realize we are all enigmas. We all have elaborate histories and are constantly carving and recarving that uncarved block of raw experience to create and define ourselves. But no set of concepts or identities will ever capture all of the nuance and complexity in those histories. As soon as we moved away from a simple (and generally useless) gender based diagnostic model of sexuality towards trying to use identity as a form of expression, we were doomed to failure. At best I can express bits and pieces of myself through long stories and bursts of character, but lists of identities will always feel like a taxidermied version of myself.
So how did I end up so disappointed? It was the desire to be seen or recognized in some complete sense, and the appeal to authority of a clinical/medical/scientific standpoint to achieve that. It was the sense that those authorities are the most "valid" perspectives. It was the desire to have a set of terms I could put on a profile - or in a medical record - to be "known" or "seen." And when I put it like that, it seems silly! The medical (and especially psychology) community has a long history of seeking to "cure" and "fix" sexuality. If they reject us, why should I care about appealing to their authority? And if they (or for that matter anyone else) doesn't have the concepts to see and understand me, why should I care? That's their loss; I can't write my life as a story for every single audience, nor can I expect every audience to get the same thing out of that story.
There's a different path here, which I've seen a lot of us travel over the years. Alongside this reorganization of identities is decades of queer theory and queer community organizing. Instead of trying to use identities as diagnostic, complete, and often exclusive descriptors we can recognize them as serving social functions. Identity can be an act. Identities can be signals of compatibility. They can be a way of trying to create a community with new norms, or with political goals. They can be signals for what kind of culture, community, and frameworks we are familiar with. Combining contradictory identities - or refusing to reveal or use specific identities - can be a way of speaking through contradictions and lacunas to try and capture the enigmatic nature of ourselves that escapes all the concepts we (currently) have.
So this is a long way of saying that perhaps my disappointment with the shifting use of orientation came precisely from the fact I had still internalized the norms they were shifting against: the idea that identities are diagnostic categories meant to capture and express non-social facts, the kind of neat homogenizing tools that algorithms thrive on, which also appeal to elite authority. What I hope we end up doing is something different: egalitarian, bottom up creations of communities, full of shifting and ambiguous borders, and comfortable with the messy and undefinable nature of existence. And I think whether we intend it or not, that's what we've been witnessing.

CAKE PHP DEVELOPMENT

What is CakePHP?
CakePHP is an open-source web framework written in PHP scripting language for web development based on the core PHP framework and MVC architecture. MVC architecture mostly Centre on model, view, and controller of the specific project to give logical separation of code from the end user.
CakePHP was created by Michal Tatarynowicz in April Year 2005. The framework gives a strong base for your application. It can hold each aspect, from the userâs beginning request all the way to the final supply of a web page.
And since the framework follows the fundamental of MVC, it permits you to simply customize and expand most aspects of your application.
The CakePHP also gives a simple organizational structure, from filenames to database table names, keeping your whole application constant and logical. This concept is easy but impressive. Go around with the protocol and youâll always know absolutely where things are and how theyâre arranged.
Hereâs a quick list of CakePHP features such as:
It follows MVC architecture
Rapid development
Application scaffolding
Active, friendly community
Built-in validations
Secure, scalable, and stable
Flexible licensing
Localization

Why select CakePHP for website development:
1. Compatible : The Cakephp is compatible with several versions of PHP as well as with the in demand website directories.
2. Customizable Elements : The Elements residing inside the framework are simple to redesign and understand.
3. No Download Required : There is no requiring downloading the whole package as you can get started by directly installing the database.
4. Code Reusability : Coding from scratch isnât needed as code-written can be used so many times in the project decrease time and effort.
5. MVC Pattern : Huge apps need a structured pattern to get started, which CakePHP offers with its special MVC pattern.
6. Code Simplicity : Easy code written in PHP can do the trick for you. The framework is simple, successful and high on areas like security and session handling.
